You need to mask off the areas you want to adjust the exposure of. Make a selection of the area you want to apply the changes to and the changes will only affect the pixels in the selection area.

Photoshop Extended has the ability to open video clips but it is to allow the user to manipulate the image in each frame, a process known as "rotoscoping" ('roto' for short), or for creating animation. It is NOT intended for editing as it only works on one clip at a time. Premiere Pro is the video editing app by Adobe that works well with Photoshop, but you can also use any number of editing apps on Windows or Mac.

The images I used in the tutorials are photographs that I have taken over the years or created directly in Photoshop. They are not currently available but are representative of the types of photographs people take.

The Bamboo is a good inexpensive tablet. I use its predecessor, the Graphire, when I am traveling and presenting. There is more fine control available using the Intuos series but they are significantly more expensive and you probably won't need it. I prefer the smaller tablets as it's easier and more comfortable for my hand to travel the shorter distances, but it means that you will need to zoom in on the images for very fine control.

On the main page for the tutorial set there are 2 buttons right below the "Add to Cart" button where it says "Customer Ratings and Reviews" Not exactly something that jumps out at you!

Flash has vector drawing tools built into it. Starting with Flash CS3 you can import Photoshop and Illustrator files.

It's usually hidden under the gradient tool.

No problem. There's a lot to remember which can be tough unless you're using PS 8 hours a day every day!
